ANZACS-QI Post ACS Ischemic and Bleeding Risk Scores Calculator
These risk scores assist clinicians and their patients in deciding on dual anti-platelet therapy (DAPT) duration beyond the first month post-ACS.
ANZACS-QI National Indicators and Targets
ANZACS-QI have set these indicators, which have been endorsed by the National Cardiac Network and the Ministry of Health. They are nationwide key performance indicators (KPIs) for the purpose of quality improvement of cardiac service delivery.

Need robust data to assist your research/project? Please read the Data Access & Publishing Guide and complete a Data Access Proposal application form.

ANZACS-QI has supported over 70 research projects since its conception, advancing understanding and improvement of cardiology services in New Zealand.

Clinicians will have access to data on patients in their region. However, should you require multi-region ANZACS-QI data for reporting or for presentation/publication, a Data Access Proposal will need to be approved by the ANZACS-QI Data Governance Group and University of Auckland Vascular Risk Equity for All New Zealanders (VAREANZ) Governance Group.

The ANZACS-QI Data Access & Publishing Guide explains how to request data, and the Data Access Proposal (DAP) Application Form ensures all requests are reviewed under the programme’s governance and Māori data sovereignty protocols.

Since its inception, ANZACS-QI has supported 83+ research projects that have advanced understanding and improved delivery of cardiology services across Aotearoa New Zealand.

  • A Data Access Proposal is required if you need national-level data, plan to publish results, or present findings externally.
  • All proposals are reviewed by the ANZACS-QI Data Governance Group and the VAREANZ (Vascular Risk Equity for Aotearoa New Zealand) Governance Group to ensure ethical use and data sovereignty compliance.
